NIGHT SAFARIS – KAPAMA GAME RESERVE – near HOEDSPRUIT

The Kapama Game Reserve is also home to the Hoedspruit Cheetah Project and is situated approx. 1 ½ hours drive north of Hazyview near Hoedspruit.  

Self-drive or take a transfer with one of several reputable wheels operators who will pick you up from Chestnut Country Lodge and return you at the end of an exciting day.  

If you choose to go with a wheels operator, you will be collected at approx. 2 pm and driven to the Cheetah Project.  Arrive in time for tea/coffee before an educational video and tour of the Reserarch Station.   See endangered species such as King  Cheetah and Wild Dog.  After the tour, board an open 4 x 4 vehicle for the game drive.  Stop for a sundowner in the bush before returning to the main lodge for a traditional South African dinner in the Elephant Lapa.   At around 20h30 return to the open safari vehicle for an exciting spotlight safari.   You will be returned to Chestnut Country Lodge at approximately 23h00.
