HOT AIR BALLOONING – near HAZYVIEW

Balloon flights take place in the very early morning before the earth heats up. Flying in a hot air balloon is a gentle adventure and an experience unlike any other. Moving along at wind speed, the balloon is part of the climate of the day and the ride is calm. The view from above shows old structures and differences in terrain not visible from ground level. The wrap-around view of the earth and sky is one which can be experienced in no other way.

Passengers can enjoy a cup of coffee of tea with home-made biscuits while the balloon is being inflated.  During the flight, passengers can use this unique opportunity to take photographs. After landing, enjoy a sip of sparkling wine while you watch the sun rise. You will be retrieved from the landing site and returned to your vehicle where you may return to Chestnut Country Lodge for a full English country breakfast and join the pilot and crew to learn more about this fascinating activity as well as many interesting tales and experiences!
